Boycotting alone won't solve the crisis in the Amazon. There are ways each of us can take action every day.
Write to companies asking them to not source deforestation products. Tell Costco; Stop Funding Environmental Destruction
Write to the CEO of BlackRock to stop financing Amazon fires and demand an Amazon Ceasefire
Call educators to action on the climate crisis. Call the US Department of Education's hotline

Learn about how beef & leather is the number one driver of deforestation in the Amazon, and how you can help this industry switch to a more sustainable path.
Ensure your wooden furniture, paper, and gold products do not come from illegal logging or illegal mining. Learn more and be an ethical consumer.

Buy Rainforest Certified and support companies that give back, like B-Corporations, and other Sustainable Forest Products
Consider a partial or fully vegan diet, which reduces demand for deforestation soy and beef, reduces climate change emissions, reduces animal suffering and is very likely to be healthier for you as long as you supplement correctly.

SUPPORT INDIGENOUS PEOPLES
Indigenous people are the forest guardians. They have been fighting to protect their forest and communities that live within it, for generations. They need our help.
Sign the petition to request a Moratorium on the Invasion and Destruction of Amazonian Indigenous Lands & more ways to defend indigenous rights at Amazon Watch
Sign the Sacred Headwaters Declaration. The Indigenous federations that are part of the Amazon Sacred Headwaters Initiative are calling for emergency support to stop the governments of Ecuador and Peru from expanding new fossil fuel, mining, and large-scale industrial development in one of the critical headwaters regions of the Amazon River. View their powerful declaration and share widely with others.

We all have to get involved. This is not partisan, this is about our survival. Many politicians have not fully seen the impacts of deforestation or its effects on our economy and health.
VOTE for politicians who will protect the environment. (Register to vote ASAP at vote.gov)
Get politics out of our money. Join the movement to take over the banking system and use it for good!
