Acerca del evento

This special one-hour session celebrates the power of storytelling to inspire action for the planet and honors the Indigenous Peoples leading the way in environmental and cultural preservation.

We Are Guardians co-directors Chelsea Greene and Edivan Guajajara will share insights from their award-winning film’s impact campaign—demonstrating how cinema can mobilize tangible support for forest defenders and amplify Indigenous leadership.

The program features an exclusive sneak preview of upcoming films from RandomGood Films, each spotlighting Indigenous perspectives, environmental justice, and planetary care:

  • Lih Ngolio (Baaka, Congo) - In the heart of the Congo forest, a city-born rapper joins the Baaka people to create music that bridges worlds, finding love, purpose, and a voice for both culture and conservation.

  • Xosha (Bukawe, Botswana) - Led by a visionary elder, a group of Khwe Bushmen journey across Botswana to reclaim their ancestral land and rediscover the traditional way of life that defines their identity.
